The latest injunction hearing was right before mine this morning. They got an extension for 14 days to be present when any City inspection or investigation goes on. It seemed like it wasn't much of a battle any more. ATF finished and left the site to HFD, who says they are done and don't plan on taking anything off the site. Anyone want to hazard a guess that she already knows this? I guess SJL has to be seen doing something or at least a good excuse for camera time. Though I would hazard a guess that it was the first time she has been in that part of the her district.
I understand the frustration of residents and small buisness owners to get answers to their questions, but this is a mess, both literally and legally and answers will not be quick in coming and SJL demanding redudant actions is not going to make it happen any faster. In fact SJL posturing may slow it down by diverting resources to deal with her office.

I have no idea of the financials of Watson, but if the bank is secured (I assume they have a first lien over much of the business), then they will get their's before the others. Now, their timing of the motion was poor. They could have waited a few weeks for the Judge to see what a mess he has on his hands and then make an educated ruling.
The Motion likely eventually gets granted. It's the "emergency" nature of it without letting any other creditor have a chance to be heard is what bothered Isgur so much.
