I just went west to east. West view and long point are a no go

Made it from the EC to Kingwood via 99. Was doing 80 on majority of 99. High water at 1314 and 59S exits, do take 59N and u-turn at New Caney. Exit Kungwood Dr as NP feeder is under by Oakhurst. KWD is open.

Made it from Richey and 45 area to Hollister-Tidwell in about an hour. It was obvious that 45 heading south near West Mount Houston had water on the road that had mostly subsided. Tidwell was probably the first clear exit after the Beltway.

I've got family in Kingwood behind Mills Branch Rd. They flooded in Harvey. They rain has been done for a while but unfortunately the Caney Creek behind them is still rising. Hopefully it stops soon. I can't imagine flooding twice in two years.

The elm grove subdivision has now flooded twice since May.

Left work at 240. (Allen Pkwy and Waugh). Currently chilling in the memorial park parking lot pounding some beers.

Transtar was down when I checked. And google said things were fine. They weren't. Google still thinks i-10 is open at wescott, when all mainlanes are closed.

It had stopped raining and waters had receded on my route by 3pm...the prob was lights being out and the flooded cars of nimrods scattered throughout the streets.

Stopped off at Lil Woodrow's though after going half a mile in about an hour on Shepherd, which was nice.
