Wow! In this life you have to learn how to win and how to lose, what this judge did is reckless. Seriously, that is his reaction to losing? God forbid somebody get hurt by one of the kids that was released.
For the record, I'm an independent but usually vote republican for positions that have to do with judges, as I do in this election. I voted for this guy. Just my opinion but what he did is wrong, you have to keep it together no matter what it's a level of professional decorum expected of most positions not just judges.

To be fair he just released them without bail, he didn't dismiss any charges.
If the people wanted cheaper or no bail and that's what some of the dem judges have been fighting for and running their campaign for then this is what you get.
He also reset all the cases to the first Friday of the new judges year. No Friday golfing for the new guys I guess

We elected an outright socialist. Every republican Judge was voted out. Ed deserved it for acting against the wishes of the people. But good lord a 27 year old who's never had a real job? I'll admit I voted for the Libertarian in that race as a protest against the astrodome. You can all blame me.
I hope no one sued me in the next 4 years and will do my best to stay out of county court. Just received a jury summons. Houston is screwed.

Dems out voted Republicans. So by definition them voting straight ticket is the issue that defeated emmet. Hence the attempts to get them not to vote straight ticket just because they were voting for beto.
