I know it has been beaten to death already on this thread, but I think it cannot be stressed enough that Pinks is garbage.

For those in the Northern parts of town, RC's on Sawdust is easily our favorite.

Just had Tony's New York Pizza on Jones near 1960. That was pretty damned good pizza! I'll be back.

Wasn't there a huge thread on here a few years back about one of the posters (or their family, can't remember) having a pizza joint in Midtown or the Heights or something like that? Seems like it was well received, but I don't remember the name of the place.

Best pizza for the price. I think it actually tastes better when you order a whole one. I'm kind of militant about my food being hot so it helps with that too.

Tony's on Jones Rd. is really good. There pepperoni rolls are awesome.

Luigi's in Midtown is really good.

Big Paulie's Pizza out here in Fulshear is pretty solid for a locally-owned joint.

For us east san antonio folks.
