Whoever recommended True Craft Market and catering on Campbell, a big thanks! In my Top 5 in Houston for sure. and their seasoned fries are excellent as well. Southwells is good too. I think Mia's has a good burger too but too greasy sometimes.

Random but the Dairy Queen in Ganado is best DQ burger and fries of any DQ I have been to.

And Hruska's in Ellinger on way to/from Austin is always a stop for me for a burger.

Looks like they remolded the old Brisket BBQ building on Bissonnett and 5th. Pretty quick renovation too; drove by fairly recently and didn't notice.

Ate there Saturday. I was really excited, and the burger was decent, but id rather have broiler or bernies back

I assume killens has been suggested as the best burger in (greater) Houston? If it's not the best burger it's the best value

That's the guy that made the new recently for reviewing a host of Houston Restaurants and giving some enigmatic Houston restaurants "bad" reviews. I won't lie, I agreed with most of them. His review of Turkey Leg Hut was hysterically true.

thanks to this thread I tried Little Matt's last week. damn good burger and fries and super friendly owners. the free beer was a nice touch as well.

Burger-Chan on W. Alabama is fantastic. I highly recommend.

If you go and the line is insane and you're inpatient, clutch city in the observatory is solid as well. Not burger-Chan good, but good nonetheless.
