I slaughtered a Pappas burger today. That thing hits all the right spots.

Had one this week as well on the recommendation of this thread. Was very legit

Tried a Pappas BBQ burger a couple of weeks ago and it was just meh, nothing special. Maybe it was hyped so much on here that I was expecting more, but it simply reminded me of a Culvers burger. Two thin, not-so-juicy, not-so-tasty patties. Pappas BBQ is the weak link in the Pappas chain of restaurants IMO.

I rate the Pappas Burger burger much higher.

Wife and I hit up Ninfa's on Nav yesterday before the Astros game and I got the fajita burger there after seeing it mentioned on this thread. Now that thing was good! Highly recommend

Had Joy Love's Burger today. It's huge, but I thought a little bland. Near Augusta Pines in Spring is a place called Craft Grill. I had one of the best burgers I've ever had there two weeks ago after a golf tournament.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I went to Jax burger today in Pearland after reading high reviews on yelp. It was a pretty good burger. Fresh meat and a good size. It was good but not sure it was worth $13 bucks for the full meal deal(fries and coke).... the bacon I had on it though was very good. Thick cut and fried in a skillet like grandma did it.

Tookie's is living off history. It's still a decent burger but not like what they used to serve...in my opinion.

If any of you live close to a Gringos...yes the mexican restaurant.

I had their La Bamba burger on Sunday for the first time. Heard about it forever and never pulled the trigger on ordering a burger at a mexican joint.

all I can saw is wow. One of the best burgers I have ever had. That bun was ridiculous.

If you haven't tried killens lately give it another shot. I thought it was average the first few times that I went but the last two times in the last 6 months I thought it was really good.

Ha. Same. Wife and I had it tonight for the first time. We got a burger and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were outstanding. Especially the burger

^ This. It is REALLY good. We have plenty of tex-mex to choose from so this is the best part of them opening their new location in Katy.
