Willy Burger in Katy has got to be one of the best around. Seems like most of the other tried and true spots have really started to go downhill, but that's across the board and not just for burgers.

I'll confirm the Pappas BBQ Burger and Fries are still my favorite in Houston. The wife and I split one this weekend (it's large and we weren't crazy hungry) and it was freakin awesome.

Lots of good burgers all around and I need to get back to Hubcap.

Underbelly Burger was good but not $18 for burger, fries, and a coke good.

I drove by that place a million times without going in. Did like Hamburgers by Gourmet in that area before UST forced them off.

Check out True Craft Markets burger for lunch-its simple yet delicious. Its on Campbell North of I-10 and is really good.

Don't know if it was mentioned, but the original Ninfas on Navigation has a beef fajita burger. It's AMAZING!

Looks like the one in Uptown might have the same menu:

Had Pipers again yesterday and I do think it's the best burger in the Heights.

Never been a big fan of Hubcap or Burger Joint. They're fine to eat if someone else really wants to go there but nothing out of the ordinary.

I have always been confused about hubcap hype because I've gotten different burgers and eaten it numerous times because of proximity but it really kinda sucks.

I used to office near 45 and South Loop. Houston Press ran a feature on them sometime in the mid 2000's and I gave it a try. Owned by Korean immigrants. Solid cheese burger basket combo w/ a can of Coke for $5 and some change. I quickly learned to call in my order and they got to know me as a regular. I would tip them a dollar and they thought I was from some other planet. They would see me coming and move me to the front of the line.

Was in the area a couple months back and the place hadn't changed one bit. Same combo $7 and some change.

Chief Cajun Big Baby Burgers. On Brandon, just south of 610 south. Dude who works there has a full-throated voice like a foghorn. Burgers are as full as his voice. I took one to eat on a Hermann Park bench, such goodness!

First time I went to Annie's, I couldn't help but admire the huge pile of bacon on display in the kitchen.

I'm also glad to hear Bellaire Broiler Burger is making a comeback. That place is legit.
