It's pretty solid. They have a bunch or different kinds of burgers if you want something besides a standard bacon cheeseburger

I had a burger from Cliffs next to Ron's Pub on Fountain view the other day. Not the best in Houston but certainly fantastic.

Cliff's is consistently solid. Awesome onion rings too. Lots of trendy burger joints have come and gone while it keeps putting out a great burger.

Speaking of relative newcomers, my current favorites are Cottonwood and Bernie's.

I think Bernie's is damn good. Great buns. I also really like their sliders.

Agree with Stanton's being good and not great, but i am a Houston purist i suppose, and Lankford is probably still my favorite.

Burger Joint also heavy in rotation

Agree. I was pretty disappointed when I finally went in, both by the burger and the customer service. And the hair in the fries. Yet every seat was full even for a late afternoon lunch.

Always one of my favorites. Plus, you can call in an order and they will walk it over to you at Ron's.

Agree. Went there on Friday for the first time. Really damn good burgers. Got the chili cheese fries and they were great. Will put it in the rotation as I like it better than Burger Joint.

I hope they make it but that just seems like a really bad location with minimal parking. I think they'd be much better off somewhere on 19th or 20th.

I had this yesterday. It was ok. Pretty much fell apart after the first bite. For all of the stuff that was on it, it tasted surprisingly bland. My buddy ordered the same thing and after the first bite he asked the waitress for some salt.

maybe you and others can chime in but last time I had it it seemed like they used way less fajita meat than years past? Maybe they are cutting corners more nowadays with food prices? It's been maybe a year or two since I've had it last and I agree it wasn't near what it used to be five plus years ago.

A little ol place called "my backyard" is still undefeated.

No lines, beer is cheaper, no pubes or spit on the patties, no stinky fat neckbeard hipsters sweating all over the place, no terrible service, no chance I will be shot by a felon out on bond, no gratuity already added, no woke folk instagramming my IDGAF attitude to complaining kids (mine or neighbors)…

It is always the right answer.
