My backyard is the best I or anyone else has ever had. 80/20 Angus, just a light sprinkle of coarse raspberry chipotle infused sea salt, and throw on the hot grill for 4 minutes and 16 seconds on each side. Slap between two gluten free pretzel buns and don't ruin it with any toppings or condiments. You're welcome.

For years, Langkford was my favorite in town. But the past 5 years or so i visit maybe twice a year and its just solid, but not the best. I really like Stanton's, Bernie's, Pappas and the other tine hard-hitters, but if youve had it, you cant deny that the v&a bar burger is the best in town. I havent had a better one.

Had the Joy Love recently. It was very good.
My vote for best is still the cheeseburger at Pappas Bro's BBQ. Not their dedicated burger place... The barbecue place has a burger on the menu. Get that one.

When and where they opening in Houston? I have to go to Dallas next week for work and am staying around the corner from RG. That's about the only reason I'm excited about going.
In EADO, close to 8th wonder. Been to the FW one, pretty overrated IMO. Hipsters love it though.

^ he's not kidding with the burger from Pappas BBQ...a fall back is someone wants to go there as I don't care for their BBQ or sauce.

The burgers on the bus are still the best burgers I've ever had. If you go back, get the burger "to go" - wrapped up in wax paper like you would get for take away which is how they were on the bus. That 2-3 minutes of steaming in its own juices created magic. Their French fries were excellent as well.
I gotta agree with Jock. It was a big letdown and there was - no joke - a hair in the fries. She brought us more fries but I'm sure they just pulled the hair out. But if you like a big steaming greasy burger with the melted cheese dripping off, I guess it's the place for you.
