Went to the HLSR Wine Auction last night and there were some stunning watches walking around. Saw a few Rootbeers, Pepsis, day dates, Pateks, APs and on and on. My meager stainless sub wasn't out of place, but wasn't in the top 100 watches in the room.

What's the "best by" date on all of that? I think that would be several lifetimes worth of cologne.

They never really go bad, manufacturers say to throw them out every 3 years but that's to sell more. As long as they're inside they'll be fine for 15-20 years.

as a married guy, I stopped buying expensive colognes a decade ago. Would rather put that money into more exciting things. I started buying the fancy knockoff colognes from ALT a couple years back. I honestly get more compliments from those than I did from the real stuff. Profit.

I was actually having a talking with Serotonin, real life buddy and fragrance aficionado, and was showing him how ALT doesn't even remove the cotton fuzz from the packing crate that sticks to the bottles in their commercials.

Also, I'll never wear something called "Mohair #9"

Best all around fragrance there is, I have the Cologne, EDP and the elixir Absolu Aventus. I think the EDP is the best. Absolu is great but hits the pepper a little strong

I have the EDP as well. It's not cheap but it's the only thing I wear and it keeps.
