I'm going to look at other Omega's and talk with the Mrs about it. I don't want to impulse buy what will likely be the most expensive watch in my collection for years! I usually pick up pieces in the $300-500 range…
This one just checks so many boxes though. I'm set on an Omega, automatic (manual works too) and something that will wear well with almost anything. Oh and one that's nicer than my boss's watch of course

Weirdly I'm fine with a pink shirt, but it's a no on the pink watch for me. Maybe the cost is too high for an ancillary watch in the collection.
This is what I found with my green watch. I love green - my office is painted green and I've had a green room in each of my last two homes. But I found myself rarely reaching for my green Oris Aquis.

Am I the only one who had to Google "Sam Smith" because I had no clue who it was and figured it was an early-1960's PGA golfer?
Like I was thinking, the Rat Pack goes golfing but with sequins.
For someone who's favorite artists include Merle Haggard, Chris LeDoux, and Jason Boland & The Stragglers, I will jam to some Sam Smith on occasion.

Point is that accolades are sometimes deserved and sometimes they aren't. And really, it's more that I'm just about the most un-hip or up-to-date on music/pop culture as one can possibly be.
