If you're into chronos you kinda have to have a zenith. And/or a moonwatch
Or skip both and just get a Daytona...
Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Zenith - appreciate the suggestion. I prefer the all dark face, but agree that's a sharp looking watch. Looking at their website they've got a Pilots collection that looks interesting too.
I love the Speedmaster, and have got a long time. I won't be discouraged if I end up there. No love for IWC?
I think we're making a trip to the Galleria later today, may try to make my way into some stores to look at what they have in person.

Zenith used to supply the movement for Daytonas if that tells you anything …
There's nothing at all wrong with IWC. They make great watches. They just aren't as iconic when it comes to a chronograph. Their styles aren't as attractive to me personally, but that doesn't impugn their watches.
I love the blue Carrera chronograph. Not sure I've actually looked at the black one.
Figured I'd change things up today!

Most of us have probably heard of the electronic clocks that regulate the swiss train system at each station, but I'd never heard of these earlier pneumatic clocks in Paris. I thought this was pretty interesting.
I know many are interested in the white speedy that was just released. Let's be patient and let the market price hype settle on it. Hoping to be able to get good deals on it for everyone soon!
My MIL gave me my FILs Seamaster when he passed in '94. I wear it a couple weeks a year... Decided to put it on this morning.

Will be interesting to see if the price holds. The snoopy had Rolex like staying power, but most omega crashes back below MSRP pretty quickly
