I'm curious to see where the price on this one lands. When I bought mine in May 2022 MSRP was $7200. That same watch is now $8000.

No I regularly have those offered to me

The ones that are hard to find are the obscure ones. Like women's watches with specific dials, specific year watches, watches with limited run times, etc

I can source most Rolex pretty easily

Depends on what model (newest vs older) and if you're looking for new or used but for example newest model brand new around 9k. Which is about 1k over msrp and tax

Sea Speed's daily is my "mostly". Probably narrowly edges out the rest of the collection as the most worn watch of 2023.

The more time I spend with it the more I appreciate it. I need to write an ode to the black bezel GMT; I think it might be perfect sampling of Rolex if you were only going to have one.

Dude I absolutely love this watch. I still get happiness every time I look at it. Not only because of what it represents in my life but because I just think it is absolute timepiece perfection. Plus until my latest job, I used the 2nd hour hand every day. Now I only use it a small portion of the time, but there used to be times when I would be in 2 or 3 time zones per week. If I never buy another watch, I am glad that I own this one.

And I really do wear it daily even if I am out doing stuff I probably shouldn't be while wearing it. I was cutting up an old dilapidated shop and doing framing and swinging hammers and I had it on recently. I just forget to take it off even when I am doing manual labor. It always reminds me of the story about the diver who wore his gold sub daily for like 30 years and when he died it was just completely beat to hell. That story was on this thread however many hundreds of pages ago.

Anyways, great looking watch brother.
