Best part of having a GMT is setting the GMT hand to your local time so you can tell your local time two ways at once!

Exactly. Never understood this. Bothers the heck out of me really. Which is why I take my GMT to my watch maker and he removes the GMT hand altogether when I'm home. Before I travel I take it back by and he puts it back in.
I'm guessing this is a joke, but sometimes one might have family or business associates in another part of the world that being able to quickly see what time it is in the other location is helpful.
I thought I was the only one!
I don't own a GMT (possible next purchase), but that seems like an awful lot of trouble.

I'm not so much worried about being able to track a second time zone. I have a phone and a G Shock that will automatically do that for me. I bought it for the same reason 99% of people do. I like the way it looks
