I went to an AD today and they actually had all 3 options to try (oyster/smooth, jubilee/fluted, jubilee/smooth). I still liked the jubilee and smooth bezel the best, so that is still my first choice. If they end up getting a jubilee/fluted in however, it's going to be tough to turn down.

I know brown (or chocolate as I have been reminded numerous times by AD's) are all the rage right now but for some reason I can't get into them. I think that looks great on you though

Not my photo ha. No issues with tats, but my arms are sans tats. Just a stock photo as I forgot to take a shot with it on. Totally get it, polarizing look for sure and I wasn't sure what to think before seeing it on. The whole patina adventure intrigues me as well

I have it on aftermarket leather. Honestly only wear it on weekends during the winter. I know Im wierd but I never thought "oh this cool brown watch would be great during the fourth of july picnic".

I saw this recently too. I really like. I've been looking for a GMT without a metal band (ie Rolex GMT). I wish they had one with brown leather

You can easily swap a strap. The Strap Tailor will make you almost anything you can think of for less than $200. The best looking out there with factory leather would be the Longines Spirit Zulu Time or the Raymond Weil Freelancer GMT.

The movements are nothing special but I like their use of color. Something different. I stopped by their old offices when I was in London a few years ago and had a cup of tea and talked with one of the owners. I didn't pull the trigger on whatever watch I was looking at because it was going to beat me home and now 5 years later I still haven't bought one.

I love this blue Raymond Weil and I love the price point, but I don't know anything about these watches. Where in the hierarchy of quality would these fall? Seems like a great value, but I also don't know dick about watch movements.

I'm pretty sure the movement in that watch is a Sellita, and that's not uncommon with watches at that price point. Nothing about that should concern you.

I always love these ads I see on Facebook, people in the comments are always like "can you guarantee these are real?"

It's like "yes, they're completely genuine and somehow just less than 5% of the market price"
