I get that it's a 70's reissue, but getting some heavy AP/Tissot vibes with the integrated band, waffle dial, etc.

Placed two orders this afternoon. Been looking for a unique dive/rugged watch so pulled the trigger on a deposit for a Sinn U50 DS. Love the grey bezel and ground dial, and I've never had a limited edition numbered piece before so that's a fun bonus. No idea when it's going to be made or delivered, but should be some time in the fall.



Also put in a pre-order for the new silver dial IWC Ingenieur 40. This one just got announced at Watches and Wonders so my AD doesn't even have the ability to order or sell it yet, but I'm on the list when they do so hopefully this comes soon too.

Sinn doesn't have ADs in the US. Your only option is to buy directly through their US distributor (watchbuys.com) or through an AD in Germany and have it imported. I did call and confirm that placing a deposit guarantees an allocation.

Just spent 3 months in Germany. Was cool seeing Laco and Sinns at all the stores. Lots of Hamilton too.

Would recommend a trip to pretty much any country touching Germany over Germany though.
