Interesting article. The writer used an average hours worked for different countries where watches are made to come up with manufacturer groupings based on hours spent on an "average" watch. Understanding that all watches from a manufacturer are not equal - still neat to see.
Not debating his groupings or methodology - mainly used the article as another resource for introduction to other watches. The writer did point out for a couple brands (ex Montblanc) how 1 watch skewed the numbers way high -
So take each grouping with a grain of salt.
The watches that fell in to 300+ hours per watch are brands I have never heard of. visited a couple of the websites and they are pretty amazing and of course expensive.
