The Ed White is just perfect. A little pricey, but perfect.Farmer1906 said:FOiS is discontinued, right?Zobel said:

This drives me crazy. For years, the "Ed White" wasn't the current model. It was a vintage piece.RVAg02 said:The Ed White is just perfect. A little pricey, but perfect.Farmer1906 said:FOiS is discontinued, right?Zobel said:

As I'm seeing discussed, most of us have our thing that we spend money on that is a luxury. Guitars, guns, vacations, etc. Things we don't need, or could get much cheaper, but it is something we enjoy and find the experience worth the money. Watches have become my main money hobby.jh0400 said:
I'm stuck firmly in the camp that can't bring themselves to spend much over $1,000 for a watch even though I have no issues spending way more on other hobbies. I really wish I could bring myself to pull the trigger on this one.

I was browsing that exact watch last night after a couple drinks
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but aren't these the same movements in Oris & Chris Ward at a lower cost?Farmer1906 said:
At least these designs are somewhat unique and you're getting a common yet well-respected swiss movement. I would agree that is not bad for under 1k.
I haven't checked in while but a few months ago the Oris Divers 65 is ~$2k new but ~$1k gray market.schmendeler said:
Oris is typically higher than $1k. Closer to $2k even.
Christopher Ward has been creeping up but around $1k is about right i think.
Here's a conversation on specifically that.AgEng06 said:
Any idea what kind of accuracy people are getting from the SW200-1 in the Christopher Wards? I know there are various levels of the movement and accuracies.
