Not sure but that's a lot of flexing for a Sub and I will not even comment about the spare with the Seiko. Lets me honest, both watches though nice are a dime a dozen.

Looks great on the rubber strap - and the watch comes standard with both the bracelet and strap. So that's a rare little bonus.

Not really. Tudor discontinued the submariner around 1999. They traditionally had one just like Rolex and were rumored to have it first.

After being neglected by the parent company and really struggling Tudor was forced to reinvent itself and new watches a decade ago. Both the Black Bay and Pelagos are quality dive watches, but were purposely not an exact sub clone as Rolex pushed to be a more luxury brand (can't have an identical value option).

It can be argued that Tudor now has the better dive watches of the family. Rolex has the name and scarcity. As Tudor is relying on new design and technology, Rolex is relying on timeless.

42mm.

The only thing new about this is the size at 39mm. People just don't know how good they are because Tudor exited the US market after discontinuing the Tudor Sub for the first decade of the 2000s and were known as Rolex lite.

I'm worried Rolex fans will figure out that Tudor Pelagos compared to Sub.

• You can actually purchase one for half a Rolex MSRP
• It looks almost identical to a sub (except the brand snowflake hands)
• Has as good or better movement than the Rolex (unchanged since the 80s)
• Better power reserve
• Better depth for water resistance
• Titanium bracelet and bezel

Best thing to happen to Tudor was Rolex allowing them freedom. I wouldn't be surprised if Tudor's success and innovation doesn't force Rolex to finally update the Sub. Then again Rolex didn't make the Rolex movement until they bought the actual movement company in like 2004.

Also, the pelagos spring loaded clasp is amazing, forget a microadjust, it literally opens and closes automatically based on your wrist.

It's basically a flex clasp that adjusts to your Wrist. Started because of the need for diving, but people realized if you sized the bracelet correctly so the adjustable clasp could work, it was amazingly comfortable every day.

Comparing watch thicknesses is a big deal. In this case it's also feels smaller because of how light the titanium feels.

I'd buy that in blue for sure.

Website says it comes with a free rubber strap.

They have it in blue and of course it's $300 more.
