I couldn't find that listing, but there is a Neptune that has been bid up higher than a Speedy 3510. That's nuts to me.

Sounds like you needed to get there at 4a or earlier to get a watch. How they thought they would do this launch with 73 watches (and allow 2 per person) is beyond me.

The Dallas store was unorganized too. People who were waiting at the entrance closest to the Swatch got usurped of their spots by people waiting at other entrances. Neither Northpark nor Swatch was ready.

Your post makes no sense. The entire point of the Tudor brand was to be a middle class, high quality alternative to Rolex as Rolex was intended to be a luxury brand an unattainable to the upper middleclass. They were even built in the same factory with the same parts (except non-Rolex movements) at one point. Per the creator of both "Tudor has the same standard of dependability that Rolex offers, only at a more modest price." To somehow say Tudor being of the same lineage as Rolex is a negative, just doesn't make sense.

Because of that, Tudor caries similar styles to Rolex as one might expect. However, the Sub as we know it was first released by Tudor, not Rolex. And Tudor continually updated their sub while Rolex only did sparingly. They've now moved to the Black Bay and Pelagos lines instead to differentiate in design (the opposite of what you claim).

Tudor is often overlooked because Omega tries to keep the focus on Rolex while they continueto fall further behind in Rolex's rearview. The reality is the only thing Omega had over Tudor was METAS certification, but no longer.

Right now (especially with Rolex holding pat on supply) Tudor is a hidden gem.
