Bourbon has way more fanboys and I think a lot of watch folks wouldn't think standing in line is worth the time (hyuk hyuk) nut maybe the swatch fans do stand in line.

I'm still a little scarred from losing my Swatch in 1987. I loved that thing. It was a simple see through face with a green ring around the inside edge.

Probably why I own a Milgauss now.

So how does this even work? What time can you actually go inside of the Galleria? I assume you can go through that hotel that is connected to it and then from there do you just wait in line at the Omega store?

Its at the swatch store over by Nordstrom on the 2nd floor. They open the mall earlier than the stores open for employees, at least used to from what I recall when I worked in the galleria almost 20 years ago

There's also a parking garage right at the entrance to the mall closest to the store over off of Hidalgo I believe. There's going to be so many texags folks there.

I'm going. What time do the doors to the Galleria open? There are multiple entrances from the garage to the mall itself so not sure when those open to allow a line to form at the Swatch store.

The other day a new nike store opened over by my office, they had part of the garage roped off and were forming a line outside. I imagine they'll do something like that and hand out numbers in order of the line before they let anybody in the store. That's how the black friday ones I've done worked

the only reference to people being targeted was at the Grotto and surrounding neighborhood areas.

Look, it's Houston, so be aware of your surroundings, but acting like the Galleria mall is a warzone is silly.

tens of thousands of people walk through that mall on a daily basis with a ton of jewelry and don't get robbed.

There is one right next to Nordstrom i think off of Hidalgo. The entrance to the mall from the garage is about 100 feet from the swatch store.
