This is kinda cool, Hamilton teamed up with FarCry to make a watch for the game characters.

I used to play the games a little bit in college, and they were fun. I think you'll see more and more of this happening in the future.

far cry 5 is the one and only video game i have played in probably a decade and i got fully hooked on it. i can definitely see how kids get hooked on them and then stop going outside.


i wouldnt mind adding a hamilton to the collection at some point.

This was a no brainer.

A, I always wanted one of those.
B, the price was indeed 10% cheaper than everywhere else I looked
C, they're not going to make any more of these so I don't see the value going down

While I think prices continue higher in the short term I think there will be a correction.

However given that this is a 2019 it will have warranty through 2024. I plan on wearing it for 2 years, and think the risk of not getting my money back out of it is negligible. And even then, this is a great watch so I would be fine keeping it.

I don't mind paying a premium for a watch that is discontinued. I won't pay over msrp (or not much) for a watch I should be able to walk into an AD and buy.

However, popular luxury goods that have been discontinued regularly sell for way over what their msrp was at the time.
