I have this exact watch but with the oyster bracelet from LIW. If anyone picks this up, spend the extra $60 and get the aftermarket bracelet. It's definitely worth it.

She's back from the Seiko Repair Center- new crystal, face, hands, crown, and movement fixed. They even polished the bezel. Looks and runs like brand new after some water ingress. After and before picks. Took a while to get the correct Malaysian market face which has rectangles instead of dots at the hour markers.

Cool I didn't know that existed. I thought the skx399 was the only skx with square indices and looked forever for one that wasn't a franken and/or beat to hell. I'll have to keep an eye out for one like yours

No, you're right. The SKX007 and 009 both have circle/oblong indices. Since he got a dial replacement, it looks like they put a new one in with square indices.

Edit: Scratch that. Upon some Googling it does appear that there was a rarer SKX007 with a special Malaysian dial and rectangular indices. That's pretty neat. Most searches show the rectangular indices on an SKX173, but I eventually found it.
