I really like what Baltic is doing style wise. Just wish they used a better movement. +15 minutes in a month isn't great.nealan said:
Baltic arrived today. I like it. The strap is nice, but a little small. Probably need to start strap shopping

Yeah, the Miyota movement is meh. But, I'll wear this in a rotation and reset the time fairly frequently
I like them, I think they're a great bridge from "i kind of like watches" to "i'm interested in luxury watches". I would put them under Nomos, Oris and Longines and obviously Tag Heuer, but above CH Ward, and Bulova, Victorinox and Movado.Scruffy said:
What's the thought on Tissot watches?

I would say their peers are probably Rado and Mido.

Great assessment. I bought Tissots for both my dad (Gentleman) and girlfriend (Chemin des Toureles) who each wanted a nicer dependable watch, but not a very expensive or (what most of us might consider) luxury watch.

What grotesque expense, what wasteful spending........who would buy a $12,000 pair of Sunglasses?Quote:
The woman had made off with a $456,000 Daytona Rainbow Rolex, a $46,000 Sky-Dweller Rolex, $93,000 in gold jewelry, and a $12,500 pair of Cartier sunglasses, according to the Miami Police Department.

I love that your intro to this thread was fossil watches and now you're passing watches out like candy and have a very respectable collection
