I've been to Fogo De Chao and Tradicao. I've recently heard of Chama Gaúcha, and I was wondering if anyone has had it and if it is worth trying. Also, what's their price/plate. Thanks!

Highly recommend, I personally like it better than Fogo, and it's cheaper. I can't remember as I haven't been there in a while but it's definitely cheaper.

I work with several native Brazilians and they have said that this is their favorite and most authentic Brazilian restaurant in Houston.

It's better than fogo and Texas de Brazil combined.

I prefer Nelore to Fogo. Haven't tried the one you're asking about though.

Fogo is so last decade

PRADARIA! Westheimer just west of beltway. Way cheaper than Fogo, usually have a groupon, meats are better!

Chama is also very good.

This place is decent but IMO it exists along with all the other 100 copy cats since Fogo is on the pricey side. Fogo to me is still the best but again an opinion.

Haven't been there, but we started my bachelor party at Nelore Churrascaria and I prefer it over Fogo or Texas de Brazil.

I'm surprised at all the love for Nelore, I've been twice and didn't think it was near as good as Fogo or Texas de Brazil either time. Thought it may have been an off night the first time, but the second time still didn't impress.

My wife is from Rio and I have been to Brazil many times.
We both love Fogo, Nelore's, and Pradaria.

Both hated Angus.

Haven't tried any of the other places but we plan on hitting Texas de Brazil soon at Citycenter. Heard good things about Tradicão.

One of our favorite Brazilian restaurants to go to is Emporio do Brasil on Westheimer near Dairy Ashford/Kirkwood. Not a churrascaria, but very good food and has a small grocery store inside you can pick up some Brazilian items.

While Pradaria is cheap it is not even in the same class as Chama or Fogo. You couldn't have been serious.

I like Chama the best, but fogo is right behind it.

The lamb at Chama is phenomenal (definitely try the rack of lamb and lamb chop).
