Looking for the best Pad Thai in Houston. I prefer the Pad Thai that is peanut/hot mustard based, not super soy sauce based.

I was told this is kinda like a mandarin vs. cantonese style of Pad Thai, or soemthing. but i'm not entirely sure.

For you College Station folks, I hate the Pad Thai at Pei Wei, but I really like it at Pho John's.

I had the Pad Thai at Yao's downtown. Not too bad. Could've done with some bean sprouts. But it had some sort of crushed spice on top that was nice. Also there wasn't enough egg in it.

Prefer shrimp and chicken mix. they did that, but it was only slightly better than average overall.

Khun Kay Thai is pretty damn solid restaurant at great prices.

Khun Kay Thai is legit. Not very hot though so get the hottest and add some of the table side chili sauce.

Try Thai Cottage's on Richmond/Weslayan. It's much better than Nit Noi's that everyone raves about.

Thai Gourmet wins in a landslide

Khun Kay if I don't feel like traveling as far though.

Also a fan of Thai Basil near buffalo speedway and 59, although I usually don't get the pad thai.

Thai Time on Hwy 6 before it closed.
