Friends and I are planning to have a picnic July 3rd at Bear Creek Park with adult beverages and games. I'm hearing concerns that alcoholic beverages may not be allowed. This seems highly unlikely to me becaue of the "crowd" I normally see a Bear Creek, but I thought I would turn to Texags for guidance anyways.

My only experience and alcohol at that park was in 2001 and it was no problem then, hell we had a keg. Unless the rules have changed you are good to go.

i sure all the chachos out there on any given weekend have plenty of cervezas. Maybe just hide them behind your back when the fuzz patrols around.

just dont be seen teenwolfing one on top of one of the pavilions, they frown on that.

There are signs that say no alcohol is allowed, but at the baseball tourneys I have attended out there the Dads have had a few pops..in plastic cups.

Did the alcohol come from HEB or Kroger? Was it bought north of I-10?

My friend called and bear creek told him that you have to rent a pavillion to drink ($120) and that you have to pay a cop $30/hr to watch you in order to drink.

We're considering relocating

Always a good idea in any public place.
