I also think The Hardline is the best it has been since a year before Greggo left.
Hard agree. I think they are really finding their groove.

Agreed too. It is the best it has been in 8-10 years. Dave's ability to go to the edge of inappropriate humor and dark humor has caused both Bob and Corby to lighten up which was much needed. Also Dave knows sports which has forced Corby to start paying more attention.powerbelly said:Quote:

My listening has settled into Gordo Musers segments and some Hardline. Bob led segments are the best; the rest is hit and miss but I'll stay with a fair amount of it. Back to spotify the rest of the day
this is pretty close to me. will only listen to the HL if I have nothing else going on.DannyDuberstein said:

Switzer and Bosworth were really good today. Maybe I've been under a rock but I had no idea Bosworth almost went to A&M
I guess the Terrell chamber of commerce shells out the big bucks thinking people will actually drive out there to spend money at the same chain stores we have here.ftworthag02 said:
Why does the ticket go to Terrell all day when it's ou/tu weekend? I would think they could set up shop at the state fair and have some great interviews, etc. I know it comes down to what company is willing to pay $$$

Corby and Davey have been close friends for way longer than Corby has even known DannyThe Shank Ag said:double aught said:
Danny? He brought nothing aside from a pissy attitude. Davey is a definite upgrade, but that ain't saying much.
Danny could talk football, was a savant with music topics, and provided a more tempered comic relief tandem with Corby, not just queef and dick jokes. And they actually were close friends with chemistry, not the forced tangential relationship of 5.0

I'm glad he's moved on and sincerely hope he's enjoying retired life, but man, after all the Jerruh stuff that happened today, I kinda wish they'd bring Norm back as a guest for one last unhinged Cowboys rant. Never realized how much I actually liked those until they were gone.

Did you enjoy George's Under Further Review of the Detroit game this morning when he kind of said...It wasn't that bad?
A couple of months ago, Jake squashed the idea that the flagship station is in his backpocket, and Jerruh does not dictate what they can/can't say. Jake added that the ticket schtick with those promos is dumb.MavsAg said:
I loved how yesterday the Hardline was bashing Jerry and saying how hard it is to be in Jerry's back pocket. Particularly as a radio show, you can't ask him the questions that should be asked of a GM. You need someone who can be unbiased in their analysis and questions. And without missing a beat, they say "and next, we'll have David Moore on to break this all down for us."
As mentioned on the HL a little bit ago, he doesn't pay 105.3 to be the flagship...they pay the Cowboys for that honor. I assume they would know since they were the flagship back in the day.Quote:
