What are commercials? The app rewind feature is the way to go.

I use i heart radio site to listen at work (live). Is there another way to listen on the computer where I can pause and fast forward through the commercials? I'd rather not use my phone app

It's definitely better now that Blake is with them. I found it very boring when they did not have blake, but having a third guy to bounce things off of helps a ton with the chemistry of the show, and he will likely allow them to get more guests. I still don't like it near as much as The Hang Zone (because the chemistry and the humor is not as good). I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but something is lacking from when they were on the Ticket. Maybe it's the lack of a board op and other small contributors to the show, not sure.

I listened to ever episode of the Hang Zone, and I will only catch an episode here or there of the Dumb Zone because it's not that entertaining to me. But I will say the episode when they had Haralabob on was a fascinating interview.

Agreed. The Haralobob episode was great. I also think you are right about the board op. They need someone to consistently be there to play drops, into/outros, etc. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it really does help with the overall presentation of the show.

I have started listening to the dumb zone and it is fun to hear those guys again (realize just how much I miss the Hang Zone as I never listen during the day anymore).

But I do think the extra contributors the Ticket offered (Board Op, Ticker Guy) as well as the overall production value is definitely lacking. I cringe almost every time I hear one of the interstitials that they place in there.

And as much as no one likes commercials, I feel like they thrived more with defined "segments". A start and a stop to what they were discussing. Or if it was a great discussion.... carry it over.

That being said now that they have 2 free episodes per week, I will definitely listen to those.

I can't stand Jake at all and am glad he is gone. Dan on the other hand I do miss and I miss the Hang Zone open. Actually the production quality across the board has taken a huge hit without either Danny, Sirois, Jake, or Blake creating content. I believe everything is a cold open and there are hardly any segment openers any more. Or they've shortened them tremendously. I honestly miss the little "Mike's Mind", "E News", and other segment jingles.

The only show that has any creativity is the Sweet Spot which I do like the more I listen to it.

I tried to give the Sweet Spot a chance by listening to a couple of their segments whenever they'd make the Top 10. But man…the way Mino starts a sentence and then stops halfway through to inject a drawn-out "buuuuuuuttt" to give him time to think of what to say next just makes it unlistenable to me. I wish they'd just put Monty's news segment in the Top 10 every day instead.
