This is my first real Jason Kidd interview and it is amazing how accurate the fake Jason Kidd is. From the little giggle to the low enthusiasm in his voice to the oppositional responses to a lot of questions like "I wouldn't say that it was a surprise…"

side note; listening to WIP this weekend.

Monty lost 3 of his 4 dogs in three weeks! One had a liver disease and he had to put down. Another, he came home. and it was dead. The last one, he got home, and it had fallen in the pool.

The musers this morning alluded to getting sued and ending up in court on some issue. They had been joking along about the Kimmel stuff but there was a tone there that seemed to imply they had gotten that far at some point in the past. Anyone else pick up on that or did I misread the joke in my head? At first I thought they were just talking about getting suspended for a few days when they had their FCC troubles but then when George said the next level of it I took it as the other guys acting like "yeah that was part of it".

Weird take. Bob hasn't watched any of it. Corby said he didn't mind it. And Dave said he has only watched through episode 4 and has heard it ends poorly.

It was a terrible show, but let's not act like the hardline loved it.

Corby has been more focused white knighting for the showrunner since the guy who created True Detective has been bagging on it. I'm not even sure how much he liked it but it basically sent him into defending it regardless along with crapping on Season 1

I usually skip e-news so to be fair maybe they said something else during e-news. But that's what I took away from the help line segment.

my wife and I stopped by for the last 30-40 minutes of the Timewasters. We'd had dinner in downtown Plano and last minute decided to swing by on a whim. We weren't even sure if it was still going on. Seeing Kid cover Regulate with Donnie made the stop worth it. I think the last one I went to was in 2001

A great glimpse of just how out of touch he is with reality. He views everything from the perspective of a 55-60 year that has earned a considerable amount of money by simply talking for a living. This along with his absurd takes on energy, money, politics, and college sports show how much of a different life he has led than his listeners.

Yea I figured he did by his comments over the years. He clearly lives in a different world both personally and financially. He is like a trust fund guy talking about how easy it is to make a million dollars.
