Guess we dont know what sort of negotiations have gone on behind the scenes, but I cant imagine his current non-ticket stuff is going to actually pay the bills. Maybe Cumulus doesnt want to pay him anymore, who knows.

Maybe I am ignorant of how profitable it is, but the card opening stuff cant be that good. And I also would think a lot of their business is from P1s, so it will be interesting to see if people continue to support it after he is no longer on-air.

100% this. Norm is determined to die in the chair. The quality is going to suffer as each year goes by. They cleared spots for Dale Hansen in the past during the week. Some angle like that could have been done which would free up $$$ and a spot for Sirois. I get that they don't have an unlimited budget from Cumulus, but Norm is where you make that happen. He won't want to do it, but tough, he's falling apart

Totally agree. You don't let actual talent like Sirois leave bc you are too afraid to tell Norm he can't host full time and get paid for it until he's 90. Norm is already practically unlistenable and the only thing that saves that show is Sirois and Donovan.

I'm legit bummed. Really enjoyed any time Mike was on the air as a host and really enjoyed cirque de Sirois. He is by far the best at the station at making any topic interesting to listen to.
