Really disappointed in both George and Junior's take on the Von signing. I'm with Bob in that this really has zero downside and adds a legit passrusher. Just a weirdly poor take by them.


I get that the Cowboys have led us all to be somewhat cynical, but I feel like this takes it to an extreme. In fact, very few seem to want to give JJ some credit for what he's done since the Parsons trade.

It's his contractual right, so there is nothing we can do about it. This is a lesson that instead of giving full no trade clauses, we should limit it to where we can trade to certain teams at least. But then I guess we wouldn't have gotten him to sign (which weirdly would have been a blessing as it turns out).

I tend to believe he would have agreed to the trade if it was just for one year bc his family could have stayed here. But didn't want to move his family if he was going to be there for next year.

I haven't listened to the segment but heard their mini debate about it on Monday. Wil listen to the segment today and see how awesome it was lol. It's usually great radio when they go at each other.

You are making Corby's points almost exactly. I'm team Bob here. Do the club a solid? In the words of the great Bob Sugar "it's not show friends its show business" and let's not act like they did him a favor just by paying his contract. Guys get hurt. Its sports. He was a risk when they got him. Rangers knew that going in.

As Bob mentioned yesterday, they were in first place at the time. You can make the argument Atlanta is more of a contender (they are) but if the season ended today, Rangers are in. They hold the final wild card and 1 game back in the division. Its not like they are 30 games out.

Exactly. Why do a "favor" for the team when they absolutely would not extend the same courtesy to the player if they don't have trade veto powers.

I have always thought Donny with Jub and Gordon would be great. And I caught a segment of Donny with Gordon and confirms that. Donny has always stood out to me when he's with Gordon because he actually engages and challenges Gordon's opinion or statement in a way that makes Gordon engage and explain leading to great content: and it's not silly stuff either. Just trying find a way to replace junior while leaving Jub & Gordon where they are.

The discussion this morning surrounding Dae'Quan Wright's potential return to college football was so ridiculously ignorant about the issues regarding the litigation. I felt so much second-hand embarrassment for Craig and George that I switched over to a podcast after the first five minutes.

I'm shocked Harry & Loyd are out of their element talking college football. They get paid $400k/year and do next to zero research about the sport. Hopefully i can hear tonight or later.
