Good interview! Do you think (does you think) Bob or the ticket reaches out to A&M (Alan Cannon) for the interview or is it the other way around?
Bob, Corby, Davey all commented about what a breathe of fresh air Coach Elko is compared to Jimbo.
Not sure that's how it always goes down though.

Irresponsible guesses where Jake has been?
Rehab? He doesn't seem like much of a drinker
Mental health break? Goes to therapy & would be surprised if it elevated to that
Chemo?
I don't understand that person at all. How could you go to school somewhere for 4 years and then turn around and root for a rival. Baffling.double aught said:
Jub this morning talked about one of his sons who graduated from Arkansas but has completely abandoned them to full on root for Texas. Hard to respect someone who does such a thing.
I disagree. Ask Arky fans about their boarderline erotic bowl game...ScoopsCalla said:
He should definitely not be supporting a team other than his alma mater but Arkansas and Texas really aren't rivals in any sense of the word any more. Yes, I know the history. But that is ancient history at this point. Anyone born in the 90s or later has absolutely no concept of a Horns-Pigs rivalry
Probably Xanax or valium given to him by some quack. I hate to hear that and I hope he is able to get his peace and well being back.ScoopsCalla said:
Jake's issue is almost for sure mental health with possible added withdrawal issues from pills. There were at least 2 episodes of The Dumb Zone in the last year where he was noticeably slurring and not making a lot of sense.

After listening to today's throwback DZ episode I think this is the most likely. He referenced inability to sleep, stress, and panic attacks back then & those are no joke.ScoopsCalla said:

A divorce would not require a month long absence from work at a critical time in the history of the DZchupacabra tacos said:
I think that's probably it, but my reckless speculation is a split/divorce. He's made a lot of comments that sounded like he knows it's heading that direction.
I get it, Dan has that shtick but Jake's seemed real. All that's happened in the last year + and his self admitted hot-headed nature seems like he hasn't handled it well.
There was an episode a few months ago where his daughter and wife were on for the beginning of the 'sode'. The body language and good bye seemed forced and tense. He loosened up considerably after they left.
I hope that's not the case because he won't do well as a single man again.
What are they showing? Just certain segments or something that is boiled down to an hour? And they cuss like crazy so how will they be able to air anything?walton91 said:
