The concern is 100 mph winds blowing DVD-sized (5" diameter) hail.

All during rush hour.

Your models seem like the worst case scenario, not sure if this you trolling?

That was straight from the national weather service tornado watch.

This was the watch -

https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1076.html

Wording -

SUMMARY...Intense supercell thunderstorms capable of all severe
hazards, including giant hail, hurricane-force wind gusts, and
tornadoes, are expected across the region this afternoon and
evening.

Friend in Tom Bean just had his trampoline relocated. It was secured (not good enough). I'm guessing they got a bit of a tornado from looking at the radar.

I've never seen them reference hurricane force winds in a severe weather statement like that.

I don't recognize Mosier's name. Might be a new NWS forecaster with a thing for hyperbole.

Sirens blaring near me, meanwhile planes still flying into love overhead. Perhaps they're taking it a bit too far.

It's like there's a force field that keeps us from getting rain in Murphy. Less than a tenth of an inch total this week at my house.

In southern Mckinney and we got nothing here so far. Even the rain is gone for now. LOTS of thunderin' though.

Hail was sporadic and it's raining way to damn hard right now for me to bother going out to see how big it was. Wind and rain are definitely ripping on us right now.

I'm on the northern border of McKinney near the courthouse

That cell that rolled through at 12:40 woke me up. BIG wind gusts. POW ponder said it had rotation.

Small hail and very little. I'm in west prosper and we barely got touched by that cell but the wind and lightning was impressive.

It blew our patio furniture about 10' further up under the covered area.

Other than that, just a great soaking last night. Missed the real bad stuff.

We had nickel to golf back hail at Frontier a park with that 1230 storm. Celina and east Prosper over to McKinney got the hail core though.

So whats the weather going to do now? Delkus was forecasting a run of triple digit days. Today my weather app says we will be low to mid 90s for the next 10 days with chances of rain.

Ready to be done with the severe stuff and the humidity.

My Apple weather app shows 60%-70% chance of storms next Tues, Wed and Thurs, and WFAA shows sunny all three days. One of those "experts" is very wrong.

Couple more disturbances heading this way tomorrow (Saturday). As long as the air stays this moist and juicy this kind of energy pulse can set off these storms. The models don't seem to handle this setup very well (and I don't see how they could given the many variables involved as to when and when one the storms could pop).

I think the issue is there's a High pressure system and a Low battling themselves with this line that's cutting right through the panhandle and the Red River.

From what POW Ponder's video had on... Sunday? I posted it... that High system was going to plop down on Texas and keep most of the rain north (and be hot as hell down here).

Appears that line has moved south and is sitting right above us leading to that line of storms last night.

Someone posted it on here but those storms moved directly down that line last night. Wave after wave after wave.

I feel for people in Grayson and eastern Collin counties... 3 rounds of it last night.. I bet some areas saw 6" of rain around Gunter/Dorchester
