I gave you a blue star. Hopefully you can trade that in for real dollars to add to your roof fund.

We were driving back to Keller from our friends in Flower Mound and got peppered with hail on 377/1171. Car received dents all over with golf ball and larger size hail. Thankfully everyone is safe, kids slept through the whole thing.

Flight diverted from Love to OKC. Sitting on tarmac until it passes.

From San Antonio? My wife is on that flight riding jumpseat. My FILs flight barely got into DAL, but he can't make it to SAT so he's staying with us now.

Was sitting in the cell phone lot when Love got slammed. Felt like it was gonna flip the car

Power still out here in Lakewood. We must have had some tree limbs downed.

Got it pretty good in Frisco in the Stonebrook/Legacy area. Started as marble sized, we walked back inside after a few minutes, then we heard the heavy stuff start hitting. Golf ball sized was where it topped out so not as bad as Spaceship, but still likely new roof for the Garrelli's this fall.
Staff - take out the trash.

Today through Wednesday the models are pointing to more chances for north Texas.

Thursday the oven gets turned on.

Is it going to be warm enough for anything severe today? Sitting at around 80 with clouds here in East Dallas.

Need that Stephenville cell to back off on the hail but come to Collin and rain in all the new sod MagnoliAg just put in.

By the way, models still pointing to another threat overnight. All of these boundaries are acting weird but if you saw north before sunset there's a whole line of moisture (clouds) just sitting up there along the red river.

All going to come south at some point.

Tornado sirens in Burleson.

None of the local news stations are covering.

Those sirens are for the hail (golf ball sized). Not a tornadic system.

Severe thunderstorm watch until 10am. Radar lighting up. Big hail will be primary risk.

Big cell by Decatur is moving southeast and will be rolling through north Dallas to frisco to Richardson right around rush hour.

I've never seen anything like the last 3 days. Bizarre. Insurance rates were already nuts; this could have insurers pulling out

WTF is up with the hail this year. Feels like the average size from each storm is golf ball to tennis ball sized

So I live around Cooper and Turner Warnell. It may have hailed but I was dead to the world asleep. I need a new roof anyway so in using this storm as an excuse to call a roofer.

I wouldn't write a policy on a single family home unless the roofing material was Class IV rated.

I've lived in NTX for over 50 years. While I do recall a number of multi-day severe weather events, it seems like the frequency of severe hail events has increased.

Thank God for the cap or we'd experience this way more often.

8:20AM EDIT: I see Delkus posted that greater DFW area is now an enhanced risk today for severe storms. "DFW is now included in an Enhanced Risk (level 3 of 5) for severe weather this afternoon and evening. Another round of thunderstorms capable of producing very large hail, damaging winds, and isolated flooding will be possible."
