ETA getting another brief heavy downpour

Just got blasted in Carrollton with about quarter sized hail... of course the one time I didn't clear out the garage and bring the cars in.

Yep just got hit in north Dallas (Frankford and Hillcrest area) pretty good. Very loud

My brother had golf ball size hail in north McKinney.

Got a nice little amount east of Mckinney. Didn't look like we'd get anything, but more formed later in the evening.

Correction. It was actually my sister in south Allen that got hit. My daughter lives a couple of miles south of her in north Plano and got hit as well.

We were dead on the north edge of the storm. My back yard had a bunch of pea sized hail, but my front had pretty much nothing.

Thankfully my truck was in front

Not a drop in prosper.

First time last night actually hearing hail approach the house...I was watching the radar and saw hail (/hailtracks) headed toward the house around 10:30p.

Two car garage...three car house. I pulled the kid's car as close as I could to the garage/house but, as I was getting out of the car, I could actually hear the hail hitting ground/houses/whatever to the south of us before I went inside. Thirty seconds later we got 10-15 big bangs on our roof and in the pool before it turned to heavy rain (and no more hail).

Kinda interesting to hear the hail without much preceding wind or concern about a tornado.

Who's ready for stormageddon tomorrow (4/26)?

Quite a bit of rain around the warm front already - kind of wondering if there won't be sufficient heating today for things to get too crazy. Any thoughts?

POW recently posted that the warm front stalled around Waco and now it looks like anything severe will be south of I20. DFW north is staying cool enough to expect heavy rain and no hail/tornado.

Looks like a pretty solid band on the radar about to hit north Dallas.

When is main show supposed to be?

Sitting at 58 in East Dallas right now. I just don't see how we're going to be able to warm up enough today for anything significant.

I am all good with that. Big soaker at the house and no severe weather.

looking at the radar now it looks like the front will move through in a bit or am I missing something. Thought it was suppose to come through 4-6pm

I'm very confused about today. Not following our normal patterns. Need a weatherman to chime in

We may not be fully out of the woods yet if those storms near Abilene and Stephenville hold together.

That storm out there looks daunting. I'm supposed to go to a party an hour away and I really don't want to get caught out in this. But don't want to be a puss about it.

The temps outside are too cold for anything severe in DFW and northern burbs. The warm front would have to lift up all the way to the Metro for that to happen.

All the action will be south of DFW, with a chance for east Texas (Longview, etc.) to catch some severe too.
