They are about done with one in The Colony, currently hiring. I've never had it but I hear good things and will never turn down chocolate cake.
Those guys are always in that parking lot blasting yacht rock and other older jams.Trajan88 said:
Option if you need a Italian beefs fix... highly recommend TJ's Dawg House (food truck) ... sets up at the Lowe's parking lot (near old Richardson Square Mall) and also at Four Bullets Brewery.
I never went to Al's growing up but they had one for a brief time in Addison on Belt Line. Went there twice and both times it was mediocre at best.Keeper of The Spirits said:
Mr Beef and Al's are better beef sandwiches but portillos dominates the hot dog game

The Beef Bus that's a pretty great name, no? will sell four items: an Italian beef sandwich; a hot dog, served Chicago-style with mustard, relish, celery salt, onions, sliced tomatoes, pickle and sport peppers; and two versions of a Polish sausage. (The chargrilled Polish sausage is served like a Chicago-style hot dog with all the fixins. The Maxwell Street Polish sausage comes with yellow mustard and grilled onions.)
Still on track for 12/30 from what I've been able to gather. Drove past last week and it seems like they still have a lot left to finish, though.Know Your Enemy said:

I've only ever heard of their hotdogs, I didnt evev know they made sandwiches.
Just talked to someone at their corporate office. They never announced the 12/30 opening date and aren't sure how that got out. Anyway, there has been a delay of 2-3 weeks in opening. She wouldn't give me an estimated date but said it would be all over social media once they finalize it.ChoppinDs40 said:ain't no way they're opening in 3 weeks.Know Your Enemy said:Still on track for 12/30 from what I've been able to gather. Maxwell Street Polish but on their french bread is where it's at. The normal hot dog bun doesn't hold up well.Know Your Enemy said:
Maxwell Street Polish is amazing.
Official grand opening is next Wednesday but the soft opening was yesterday. I think I will roll out there Saturday afternoon to see how long the wait is.DannyDuberstein said:
