FYI: Robert Graham is the guy who told me I had a torn rotator cuff, and sent me for physical therapy, prior to surgery! My PT questioned the logic of that, but examined me any way. After about two minutes, she said this was total b.s., and the problem was coming from my neck, and was very serious. I made an appointment with my spine guy at Fondren Orthopedic, and he confirmed that my problem was in my C4-5 disc. He's worked on me since 1988, so he's very familiar with my spine. He told me I needed a fusion. When I asked how soon, he said "This is so bad, if it were my neck, I'd have it done tomorrow. Meanwhile, don't lift anything or do any strenuous activity." I had the surgery the next week, walked out of Texas Orthopedic Hospital the next morning, and haven't had any shoulder pain since.
Needless to say, I ain't been back to see Dr. Graham, or his webbed feet, since. I've heard great things about him, but my experience was VERY different. At the very least, get a second opinion!
