We're all bored, so we bicker over who has the right to post on a message board. The people who have time to waste going down to protest or block streets or chant or whatever are bored. People going down to confront those people are bored. We all need entertainment of some sort, and opening bars is a step up from arranging bum fights.

Very odd thread all around, but it did seem to be all Austin related and it's not surprising a thread entitled "ANTIFA to Austin" would get more buzz than nearly any other Austin topic on this board. Yes, this discussion will draw out the politicized types and it did, but it's not surprising.
One thing that disappointed me was the OP describing how excited law enforcement was to do battle with whatever crazed rioters showed up. I hope that was just the OP injecting his desire to see whatever group he hates beaten with batons and not a true representation of those in LE who I hope prefer to deter that activity rather than encourage it just so they can deploy weapons.

There have been numerous reports of "Antifa" coming to this place of that. It's excited folks on the right and folks have even shown up to "protect" this city or that. In the end, almost all of them have been hoaxes designed to troll the proud Boy crowd or the result of over active imaginations.
