Yeah this "super El Niño" isn't doing much for us right now. Until this high pressure moves out of the area, there won't be much rain.

Not to be this guy...



But the high pressure has moved east and is rocking the east coast with 100+ degree temps. While we are getting a deluge of rain, we are open to sporadic outbreaks similar to what some of us were lucky enough to experience yesterday.

It's 97 because it's July. Haha. Oh June, how I miss you.

Drove from Houston to Bryan earlier, and HOLY HELL. It rained hard. Tons of idiots with flashers on going 4pon both 290 and 6. Was surprised to get home and have a measly tenth in my rain gauge

Max posted a map earlier showing that it was stalled on the south side of town. My friend in Creek Meadows got a nice downpour while I got nothing in SW Valley.

No dome. This is mainly a southwest/south Texas event and will only be scattered rain for most of the Brazos valley.
