It's been for sale for a long time.Burn-It said:
Blue Fin Sushi is apparently changing ownership, according to the little Guatemalen dude who runs the place. New owners don't want any alcohol/liquor sold (stupid move). Expect that to be short lived or the place to go downhill fast.
Hopefully the former owners start a new restaurant in a better location. It is the best sushi and atmosphere in town.JMac03 said:It's been for sale for a long time.Burn-It said:

And I agree on the alcohol license. I always liked their drinks were a good price and the wines were always big pours.

Something that can afford that ridiculous rent there. No coincidence nobody stays in business there for long. The only one making money is the property owner

Concrete demo work going on inside of the David's Bridal building in front of Home Depot. I don't think I've heard anything about it here yet?
Boneheads was fine, they had fish and rice and piri-piri sauce; the problem was it always seemed to be empty. Before them there was a coffee shop and a Ben & Jerry's.FlyRod said:EliteElectric said:

Veritas was there a very long time, by BCS restaurant standards. If you're thinking of "Boneheads" in the same strip, the idea and the execution were terrible. Hard to say if the rent did them in or…they did themselves in.
It's a great space, I hope something nice lands there soon.
I haven't, I haven't loved their other concepts around town, so I haven't bothered going to Kanji.MS08 said:ReelAg6 said:Hopefully the former owners start a new restaurant in a better location. It is the best sushi and atmosphere in town.JMac03 said:It's been for sale for a long time.Burn-It said:

Kanji is much better than "their other concepts around town". Even if you are not a sushi fan, there are other options that are also very good.

sorry, not a fan. reminds me of a cafeteria.MiMi said:You should check out Shogun. My sushi loving family members love the variety and quality. California rolls are around $6. And there is plenty of options for me since I'm not sushi fan.TyHolden said:they only eat the California rolls so no biggie.trouble said:
