Same at my employer.

They keep trying to deliver around 8PM, long after we're closed. Then they don't even attempt it for a day or two because we're "closed."

Then they try to deliver at 8PM and the cycle starts all over again.

That's ridiculous. You would think they would understand they have to put any place of business on the route for a business hours delivery schedule. Geez.

I'm assuming it is one of their contractors, who are generally beyond worthless. When our regular mailperson runs the route, we get the mail by 10AM.

That would require higher brain function..

Carriers don't set the routes though.

Just got thank you note from my cousin which was mailed from Brenham on October 1. I live in Dallas.

A mere 15 days from the time it shipped, I have my package in hand! I hope it had a nice trip touring our great state.

Had an unusual number of Amazon shipments last few weeks. All arrived earlier than stated.

I'm just surprised nobody's open up an Amazon delivery franchise here yet. They are looking for somebody to franchise it. Would be a good business opportunity.

I've seen horror stories online, that it's not all rainbows and buckets of cash.

Here's what I found:

I've been getting mail a week late.There were 2 days last week when no mail was delivered (excluding Thanksgiving). I probably should get Christmas cards in the mail ASAP.

I have a package floating around. USPS stated it was out for delivery yesterday and nothing. Now it says "awaiting delivery" and hasn't changed since last night. Thankfully, it isn't vital that I get it immediately.

I have one of those. Had a package Out for Delivery by 9pm today. Around 9:30pm, the status changed from Out for Delivery to Awaiting Delivery. I'm guessing the delivery driver timed out and quit delivering. Fingers crossed it shows up tomorrow.

Here's hoping it turns up - it was an Amazon Black Friday purchase that of course isn't on sale anymore, so if it ends up going missing I guess I'm just SOL.

In the USPS FAQs, they told me to submit an inquiry, which I did last night. We'll see if that actually does anything.

"Rotten" is pretty nice compared to what I think of them.

We've been waiting on a certified letter from someone in Florida since mid-November. As of December 3, it was back in Florida for some reason with no updates since then.

Yep....but they can spend a fortune on TV ads. Has anyone ever seen an employee that looks like the blond in the ads? In Bryan, there is not a clerk under 300 pounds.

There was a Barbie that worked in the College Station post office. I think she was hired to distract people from the terrible service.
