Looking like we'll be on the dry side. Wind profile for tomorrow is NW then N then NE.

West Side of the center typically has less rain. Path will make a big difference and show a gradient for rain totals

That's how I interpret the wind profile as the storm passes us. The wet side of a storm is the east side and winds would be out of the south with the dry side having winds out of the north. Not sure they know right now. The eye is going to go very close to us so I guess we could see east Brazos County get soaked and west Brazos not so much. It'll be into see what happens.

Thanks for educating me. Hopefully you're right. Hoping we can keep it under 3 inches (I often getting flood issues on some property I own at anything over 4 or so in a short time. )

That wind forecast is pretty aggressive compared to anything official that I've seen. Path will matter a lot for max wind, but the 1:00 update looked like gusts in the 50mph range for south cstat

Still on track for a lot of rain, too. I'm surprised it hasn't gone down since we will be on the other side of the storm.

From Accuweather - It felt aggressive to me too, but I battened down the hatches all the same.

If we get 80 mph winds this town is in big big trouble.

Max saying sustained winds 40 mph for several hours in BCS, with potential for gusts. No mention of 80. Rain 4-6 inches.

Yeah watching him live and he just updated the thing further east so less rain and hopefully lower wind threat.

I think those high number are the eastern counties of the Brazos VALLEY, not Brazos County.

That power pole laying at a 45 degree angle resting on a transformer box on William D Fitch right before the Pebble Creek entrance can't be good.

Winds haven't even rolled in yet.

Max's recent update showed 2.5" for BCS and 7+ just a short distance to the east. If this thing shifts east again, we will likely miss out on most of the rain.

I'm optimistic we'll have more rain. This spring, June, and July so far have already been WAY better than the 2023 calamity.

How close to the storm do you need to be to get the winds? If the rains just miss us will it still be a little more windy than normal?
