I heard, then saw one overhead a couple days ago when I was in Woodcreek.
It was quieter than others I'd heard previously, much quieter than one of the first I saw doing a delivery in a friend's neighbors yard last year when service started.
Not sure if they have different sized drones running around?

Did you hear it flying (quiet) or landing and taking off (loud-sounds like a swarm of bees or chainsaw).
Had my first drone delivery this morning! I didn't hear it until it was right above our house. It came at the very end of the promised delivery window - pretty happy with the experience! (FTR we live on the other side of the highway, so I wasn't sure it would ever work!)
Saw one outside my house this morning. Pretty neat.

I was with my neighbor in his driveway waiting for his delivery. Really cool seeing it come in. I grabbed it wanting to see if it could lift me. It struggled but slowly rose. I was about 4 feet off the ground then let loose.
Heard they're ramping up deliveries soon. Hopefully it won't bother most but I myself wouldn't buy a house near the takeoff point. The noise isn't bad but hearing it all day everyday would be awful IMO.

Yeah. It's annoying. I could tolerate airplane frequency. All day everyday would not be ok.

I believe 400 Technology Pkwy. I've heard them several times when we are at woodcreek park or in the surrounding area.

We had a first delivery attempt yesterday. It was more just about the novelty of it and to see if it's something we'd use. It made 2 attempts to deliver our package, but failed both times. We will not be using it often, if at all. It's is very loud. Way louder than I anticipated. We have too many neighbors and I don't want to cause that kind of disturbance in the neighborhood.
Had my yard surveyed for drone delivery a year or two ago. Got the landing pad, sticker in the driveway, whole nine yards. Then nothing. No word, no ability to order, nothing.
Fast forward to a month ago and I actually took a tour of their facility here. Mentioned this to them and was told to call the customer service number. Have tried over 20 times to get through during the month since with no luck. I give up.

They came and surveyed our yard, gave us the sign, and said, give us a week or two to get you in the system. Got our first order last week. Maybe give it a try? Gotta use the browser: Amazon.com/collegestation
Doesn't work. Like I said, I've tried everything. Including speaking with the local drone team in person. I give up.
