Bart, or "Coach" as some call him, has been written about several times throughout the years. Here are a couple blurbs from The Batt, dated 1981 and 2003.

Here's a story on him from KBTX ca 2010:AggiePhil said:

The guy that's a spitting image of Santa walking down University Dr. to campus.
I know who you are talking about. Take another look at him the next time you see him. He stuffs all of his belongings into just one leg. It looks like Hulk. The other pant leg is normal.FAT SEXY said:
You'll sometimes see an African American gentleman walking down Texas with what appear to be massively swollen legs. I thought he had Elephantiasis for the longest time, but now I'm not so sure.
I think he may just stuff his pants full of his belongings.
He loves it if you "wave" backFAT SEXY said:
Across from the Bryan Cemetery on Texas you'll sometimes see a younger Hispanic guy standing on a concrete slab yelling at traffic.
He occasionally likes to flip you the bird.

I wonder if that's "Brother John" who used to preach all the time around Rudder, or someone else.texasaggie2015 said:
That preacher guy who would hang out at Northgate almost every night during the weekends. He would help out at Antonio's when the bar closed sweeping the floors and straightening chairs. I have no idea what his name is.
This was from like 2013-2019. He might not be there anymore.

That sounds like Dieter. Same guy Tibbers was referring to.

Anyone remember Elijah?
Guy that drove old beat up car around with the Star of David painted on it.
Sometimes pulled a little trailer behind it
Think he was around mid 90's to early/mid 2000's
I think I know that guy but forget his name.FAT SEXY said:

Bart used to also referee high school basketball in those EXTREMELY short shorts in the early 2000's. One of my former teammates knows from experience.1.618 said:
Yes, Bart was the MSC guy in the shortest shorts ever. Even when short shorts were the style, his were ultra short. He was actually a runner back in the day.
Hung out at the Chicken often in the late 80's and would try to chat up the college girls. He was old then so now....well must be really old.
