Whatever Pappadeaux is, it's good.
quote:Are any others besides them locating here?
While Pappadeaux has unquestionably good food, it is certainly not the pinnacle of seafood or cajun/creole. There are any number of places in Houston alone that do a better job.

Are any others besides them locating here?
quote:I agree. We've had bad luck at The Woodlands location, for some reason. The one in Austin on 290/I35 has been consistently great, as have those in DFW we've tried.
Unquestionably is a strong word.
Over the years I and many folks I know have had both good and bad meals at Pappadeaux, as well as service, just like any other restaurant. The ratio of good to bad is better than average, however. And I would say that we currently have several restaurants in town that have a just as good or better ratio.
It is, after all, a very successful business model with more tendencies of a chain than an independent, which works.

Yes. Harris Pappas told me they were.
Issues with parking issues and neighbor worries delayed it, construction should start in January as of now, could change. Will be at old Scott & White clinic across from Fish Daddy's.
Razoos Cajun Cafe is about to open too. So several selections.

Would be nice. We'll see. Until then I guess we'll make do with Razoo's & Swamp Tail's.
quote:Yup based upon swamp tails never ending campaign to adjust his/her restaurant I will be trying this out V. soon.
Y'all are doing great! Some people can never be pleased...you'll learn that.

Being Aggie owned and operated, we appreciate the feedback from fellow Aggies. We hope you continue to support us even with the addition of new Restaurants in the area. We do listen and try to adjust, but we get a lot of mixed signals. We get comments that we are too pricey, so we try putting some smaller portions at a lower price and then get comments that it is not enough food. We can say this, we will not sacrifice on the quality of food we purchase just to be like everyone else. We plan on being in College Station for a very long time because we are Aggies and we love it here. We have only been open for six weeks so we continue to adjust. Please keep the comments coming. We can only continue to get better with your help and support.
Thank you,

Since you plan on being in College Station a long time, when does that location open, and how will it differ from your current Bryan location?
quote:I think you're being a little hard on Swamp Tails here, I'm sure it was just a lack of attention to detail, not weak pettiness.
Weak. A little petty.
