If you can get to Rockport-try this place for GREAT FOOD. The best Pizza you can imagine, as well. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

When I lived with my parents in Aransas Pass, we would go to Big Fisherman a lot because it was cheap and decent food.

I remember when I was little they had a bunch of animals (tigers, cheetah's etc) and it was amazing...but it ended up burning down and most of the animals were lost.

Trout Street will also cook your fish but I do not think it is on the menu.

Personally, I like Virginia's on the Bay but it is pretty pricey and the food seems to have gone downhill since it has changed owners.

I also agree with Angel's in Aransas Pass and be sure to stop by Shell World while you are in that area. The shop looks like an eyesore but they have probably the best selection of shells and corals in the United States (the owner's kids both graduated from A&M).

Thanks guys. With the weather this weekend, the offshore fishing was horrible, and during the whole ride out there, I gained quite a new perspective on the Deadliest Catch fishermen. Wow. But, the food was superb. We ate at Castaways and the Wharf. Both were great.
As for the ferry, it was quite simple. We made 4 round trips and we were able to drive straight onto the ferry each way. I think the weather held the crowds back. Thanks for the help.
