Anyone get drawn for the Archery hunts?

Didn't apply for archery this year,

But didn't get drawn for javelina or pronghorn today.

No on all counts: javelina, archery pronghorn..

Same here. I put in for a mess load too.

Indeed, the Holy Grail of this year's drawn hunts.

0 as well. Kinda surprised, had quite a few points in all categories drawing today.

I only have 5 points for mule deer as well and did not get drawn....it'll be a long time till then.

How many loyalty points will I need to finally get drawn? lol 10 years of putting in and haven't drawn once. Kids picked up a few youth hunts.

Its subjective to the hunts you put in for. You have a "chance" every year as its not a true loyalty program, your number of tickets in the hat just increase each year.

If youre only putting in for prized hunts your going up against 1000s of folks that have 20+ PPs.

You could get drawn next year if you put in for Archery Deer at cross Bar mgmt area. Youd have to wait another 10-30 years at Chaparrel

That's the thing I put in for every archery hunt this year lol I figured I would have picked up one of the less popular hunts. Nope!

Got drawn for a dove hunt in Wharton, somehow.

Everything else is pending minus the exotic hunt (sad day).

Only took 27 years to get drawn for GDE. Naturally, the hunt dates were the same weekend that my son was drawn for youth mule deer.

Congratulations! Thats crazy it takes that long!

yes. There are no preference points or whatever you call them in the e-postcard hunts unless they changed it in the past year so everyone has an equal chance of drawing. Not only that, the APH that you have to purchase in order to apply for e-postcard hunts only goes on sale 2 weeks before the e-postcard drawings so you really have to be on top of things to not miss the window. All of that greatly increases your odds.

But they screwed it up by removing some of the hunts recently. I hunted Big Lake Bottom or Richland Creek Trinity/South unit 4 times in 6 years from 2018-2024. I really hate that they took Trinity out of the e-postcard category. That was one of my favorite places to hunt.
