I have a wonderful black Lab female we got from Moccasin Creek about two years ago. House girl/pool float rather than be a robohunter like her mom and dad. Got her to partially fill the hole that our previous Moccasin Creek girl left when we had to send her over the Rainbow Bridge after 11 years.

Dog is pure dee crazy. Loves to walk, play catch until you tell her it's time to come home and start to put her leash back on. 9 times out of ten it's a happy walk back home one the outlier is 'Daddy, I'm not ready to go home! Then she tears off through the neighborhood, playing keep away.

I'm too old to chase her and don't want to tell my wife and daughter that Idiot Lab just became road pizza because (a) we have 14 Amazon trucks/day on our block largely because you so efficiently spend my money and (b) dog is a wild bear.

Any suggestions for Labrador Boot Camp will be well received. We're in Houston.

Rody and Kristen Best, the owners, are fantastic people and highly respected trainers in Texas. One of their sons, Dakota, has helped my lab attain an AKC Master Hunter title and Master National pass.

Shock collar when off the leash. Wait till pup runs off, shock the dog, see if needed more than once. I have two labs that I never walk on leashes and did this with both of them. They will absolutely learn, it's just a question of how quickly.

I looked at today when I had my dog trained but he was full Soni used hidden lake, which was great.

My buddy is sending a dog to best in a month.

I asked how much it cost per month now as it was $600 or so when I sent my dog about 10 years ago and the cost is now over $1000/month.

I don't think I could get down with sending a dog off these days, too rich for my blood. Good grief
