P365 if your hands are average to smaller than average size.
P354 XL or Xmacro if hands are average to larger than average size.

I really really like the Xmacro.

Edit: I used to shoot a shield and have also heard good things about the hellcat.

If I could have only one gun it would be a Hellcat. It's easy to conceal, shoots like a bigger gun, reliable. Lots of nice things to say about the Hellcat

I just ran a Kydex retention holster and dual mag pouch on a stiff gun belt carrying a G17. Right under the T shirt. Retention was almost stiff enough to do upside down stuff on a pullup bar.

Have you held one yet? How are you planning to carry it? I found the regular Hellcat the perfect size, concealable but I'm still able to get a good grip. The Hellcat pro is a little bigger then the Glock 43x and that is a decent sized gun IMO to conceal (but I pocket carry so your requirements may be different). The standard Hellcat drops snugly in my pocket with a pocket holster but I found the pro too big for that. Really you need to hold one back to back, see if they have a holster you can test fit and see what's more comfortable. What I love about the Hellcat is it shoots like a full sized gun but drops in the pocket, or easy IWB etc.

Held a hellcat Pro, 43x, and a 365 macro. I actually like the squared grip on the hellcat, and I really like the sights. One thing that worried me about the HC is a lot of reviewers found it pretty snappy

I don't find it snappy at all.... of the small guns I find it really soft shooting. I've got one you're welcome to shoot (not pro just standard). The trigger is great, sites are great. I have lots of nice things to say about it. I really mean it when I say if I could only have 1 gun it's the one I'd keep. It checks a lot of boxes.

Buds has a much better deal on the hellcat and you don't have to support carters. I got one recently and it shoots great.

All small handguns are snappy. I don't find the hellcat snappier than the 365. Sights on the hellcat are amazing if you're not going to put a RDS on it.

I switch between carrying a G19 and a hellcat. It's good to have both a compact and a subcompact sized gun to carry depending on the situation.

I also recently purchased this for carry in athletic wear. Might be another option.
The Bridge Conceal Craft

One other thing, the extended mags for the hellcat are great. Very stable and really allow you to get a solid grip on the gun.

While I have yall, I'm in the market for a 9 mm edc. I currently have a cheap Taurus I carry at the ranch/etc but not gonna trust my life to a $200 pistol. Also have a full size 1911, but no way I'm carrying that thing.

Will need to be concealable on a 5'4", 130# frame.

Currently looking at

Hellcat
G43x
Shield plus

Have you gone and shot any of these?

I have not. I think I am going to get a membership to range USA for a month and rent all of them

People think it's dumb and a waste but I would highly encourage you to go shoot these 3 and others. You might be surprised at what you assumed you liked versus what you actually like and shoot well.

Not to hijack too much, but since subcompact guns are being talked about, does anyone have any experience with the S&W Bodyguard 2.0? Yes, I know it's a .380, but I have a pretty small frame as well (5'10", 170lbs) and any gun I will carry is better than one at home.

I do have a Ruger LCP, but I'm interested in something with more capacity and a little better grip.

Unless I missed it, I am surprised no one mentioned the Smart Carry holster, or the old item from the 1990s... Thunderwear.

I believe they still make Thunderwear. And, one does not have to wear it with the gun in the front. You can position the holster part of the Thunderwear to the 3 o'clock position.

These work great with draw string shorts or sweatpants.

I actually have a SmartCarry that I use for an old Sig P290. It's pretty much the same as the VNSH holster mentioned above, except the velcro belt goes through a buckle and loops back on itself rather than having 2 loose velcro ends.

Check out the CZ P-10 C and CZ P-01 as well as the others listed above. I have a Sig 365 XL and switched to a CZ P 01, it shoots and feels better.

That's also where I arrived, months ago, and still haven't pulled the trigger (lol). Let us know what you decide.

As mentioned above, I'm also interested in the Bodyguard 2.0.

For the folks that have used the Hill People Runners Kit, I was surprised to see dual zippers on both pouches. I would think that for the main pouch where your gun goes, you'd want a single zipper. With both zipper tails hanging side by side, I could see being in a panic and going to draw and accidentally grabbing and yanking on both zippers, effectively keeping the pouch closed with the zippers now on the other side. Am I over-thinking this and/or with practice this doesn't become an issue?

I just put a little Nitize twist tie on mine so I knew instantly which one to grab. Small and light but also tacky and identifiable

tandy, a derringer is too big for your frame

Just carry what you can accurately shoot.

I recommend you find a range that does rentals and try both.

I personally preferred the P365 XMacro (in a Shalotek grip mod), but everyone's different.

I run while carrying my rifle over my head.

Oh wait, I'm no longer required to do that.
